Luna welcomes Ledea, a sparkling new fashion start-up
Luna recently welcomed Ledea among its clients. Ledea is a Belgian start-up founded by three young people from Brussels. The company’s aim is to dress all women, regardless of their size or shape. This year, the young company launched its first haute couture collection in Brussels.
The two young women co-founders, aged 24 and 25, struggled to find evening or wedding outfits that highlighted their silhouette. Who doesn’t like to look pretty and dress up for a party or a wedding? So they reckoned there was an opportunity for a new Belgian brand of tailor-made haute couture, complete with the brightest of glitter.
The two young women work as care assistants in a nursing home. The male co-founder studies and works in public administration. So they have no connection with the world of fashion.
Enthused by their passion and ambitious project, our communication agency handled the management side of press relations for the event’s launch of the collection. We drafted a press release, and pitched for and organised interviews with La Capitale and Bruzz, two local magazines. We also presented Ledea to the radio-TV programme ‘Génération Start-Up’ on RTBF, Belgium’s French-language broadcaster!
Ledea’s reaction was very positive and spontaneous: “You really worked well for us!” We are delighted with this fruitful collaboration and wish the company a sparkling future!
