Federale Assurance-Verzekering was founded in 1911 by a group of builders, and the Belgian construction sector is still one of the insurer’s main target groups. Federale Assurance-Verzekering offers a comprehensive range of insurance and financial products to businesses, self-employed persons and private individuals. It is a mutual and cooperative insurer with no outside shareholders.
Luna has been the press partner of Federale Assurance-Verzekering for many years. An important part of this role involves brainstorming to identify topics of interest. We work together to define the insurer’s PR strategy, covering everything from the planning stage up to the final communications. The topics covered are highly varied, and have included a statement and call to politicians to clarify a new piece of legislation, the annual report (complete with financial results), the findings of a survey, and new product launches.
Luna also handled the announcement of the insurer’s acquisition of Optimco, an Antwerp-based insurance company. This project involved months of preparations.
