ARAG is an international insurer founded in Germany in 1935, with the goal of offering its clients easier access to the legal system. Its founder, Heinrich Faßbender, had this vision: “To enable everybody, not just those who can afford it, to assert their legal rights”. The group operates in 19 countries, mainly in Europe but also in the United States and Canada.

ARAG has been active in Belgium since 1965 and is specialised in Legal Protection Insurance. To this end, ARAG works with a network of more than 2,800 brokers. The Belgian headquarters are based in Brussels, with 90 employees. ARAG is Belgium’s last-remaining 100% independent Legal Protection insurer. This is a guarantee of impartiality to defend each insurance policyholder.

Luna has written numerous press releases for ARAG on a variety of subjects (product announcements, OBFG procedure, Geens Act, accessibility of the legal system for all, recruitment, Batibouw, etc.), a specialist article on tips for making a renovation project a success, letters to real estate agents, lawyers and clients and blogs on the legal protection offered by ARAG. Luna has also advised ARAG, among others, on crisis communication scenarios. The general and specialist press (Trends, De Tijd, La Libre, L’Echo, Moneytalk, Le monde de l’assurance, Le Soir Immo, La Quinzaine rénovation, Vivacité, De Morgen, etc.) covered Luna extensively. Luna has written emails and organised a defensive interview as well, which reduced the negative impact of an article by adding a paragraph. Luna has a very good confidential relationship with journalists, which is an asset in times of crisis and/or emergency.
