Created in 1991, the Resto du Coeur of Belgium Federation is a non-profit association (asbl) that offers a range of services to tackle exclusion: food aid, help with education, housing assistance, healthcare assistance, plus parents and children centres.

The Resto du Cœur of Belgium Federation today includes 20 Restos du Cœur: 14 in Wallonia (Arlon, Charleroi, Gembloux, La Louvière, Liège, Marche, Mariembourg, Mons, Mouscron, Namur, Quiévrain-Honnelles, Val de Sambre, Verviers, Wavre), 4 in Flanders (Aarschot, Assenede, Oostende, Tienen), 2 in Brussels (Saint-Gilles and Laeken) as well as 5 branches, spread across the whole of Belgium. In addition, 3 Mobile Restos du Cœur deliver complete food parcels in Wallonia and Brussels. The Restos du Cœur are made up of a team of around 100 employees and almost 500 volunteers. Luna has collaborated with the Resto du Cœur of Belgium Federation for several years. The Restos were keen to develop their press relations with a professional partner, in order for example to raise the awareness of donors and to increase the donations made, with a view to coping with the needs of the beneficiaries. Over the COVID-19 crisis period and due to several successive crises, the demand for food has certainly increased enormously. Luna successfully organised many audiovisual interviews (RTBF, Radio 2, etc.) and as a result has got excellent coverage for the Restos du Cœur.
